FOOD MATCH; MILD CHEESE
|
All these wines should work with gentle hard cheeses (Caerphilly, Cheshire etc), which suit softer red wines or rounded whites. Creamy, soft, mild cheeses need rich white wines - you can try a red but it won't be flattered. So stick to the first few here. For goats' cheese ignore all this and drink Sancerre or Pouilly Fumé! |
