Winemaker tasting - Ed Adams of ‘La Bascula’ Friday 21st September 2012, 12 noon
Ed Adams MW has teamed up with Bruce Jack, one of South Africa’s most celebrated and innovative winemakers, to make an exciting range of wines in (here’s the surprise!) Spain. They have scouted round the most interesting areas north and south to produce a selection of indigenous styles with a modern expression. The results are impressive, and great value.
Ed will talk us through six wines (an informal 'standing' tasting in the shop) after which James Claydon will cook us his interpretation of a classic Paella; served with a couple of glasses of Rioja. Followed by ‘Catalan cream’ and coffee/tea to finish.
Just £29 per person. Limited to 30 guests.
Starts promptly at 12 noon.
