Producer: Jean-François Coche has just 9 hectares, averaging 3,500 cases of wine a year, in which every white Burgundy fan would love to share. Hence ridiculous price levels. His 'secrets' are old vines, very low yields and that very long maturation time in oak
Old Bridge Rating: 1994 was a difficult year producing lean, dry wines. The result is classic Coche - not a honeyed or ripe style of Meursault but fiercely complex, aromatic, mineral-laden. Brilliant with simple fish dishes
