Area: Qupe are based in Santa Barbara County, a (relatively) cool climate area north of LA, where Burgundian and Rhone varieties predominate. Made famous by the film 'Sideways' which helped kickstart the trend for Pinot and Syrah over Cabernet and (especially) Merlot. This example is actually a blend from around the area
