Area: Kaapzicht is a farm in the Bottelary Hills, first mentioned in 1712 and bought by the Steytler family in 1946. 135 hectares of vineyards are planted on mainly north facing slopes. They have an abundance of old Pinotage bush vines. Danie Steytler makes the wine and his wife Yngvild is responsible for sales and marketing. The set up is reminiscent of a family-run property in Burgundy or the Rhone
Grape Variety: 100% Pinotage aged in French oak (half new oak) for almost two years
