Area: Situated at Roquefort de Bedoule, close to the border with the Bandol region, the vineyards are at an altitude of 350-400 meters, well protected by surrounding cliffs. The landscape consists of hills and plateaux which form the Massif of Sainte Baume, which rises to 1042 meters a few miles away towards Aubagne and Gèmenos.
Grape Variety: Grenache, Carignan, Cinsault and Syrah.
Producer: The estate can trace its history back to the 15th century, with a wine cellar first built in 1734. It is now run by Raimond de Villeneuve, on biodynamic principles.
Old Bridge Rating: A touch more richness and complexity. Subtle, but impressive.
