Piedmont (near Turin in north west Italy) is renowned for its great reds, Barolo and Barbaresco. But it also makes fine, delicate whites from Arneis and Cortese. Giustiniana are based in Rovereto, at the heart of the Gavi region.

100% Cortese fermented in stainless steel and bottled in the Spring.

There are records of winemaking at this estate in the 13th century, when it was part of an Abbey called Rivalta Scrivia. It is now owned by the Lombardini family, who have 40 hectares of vines.

Always drink Gavi within its first couple of years.
