2020 RAZA, Quinta da Raza. Vinho Verde, Portugal
Alcohol Percentage: 11.5%
Area: Quinta da Raza is located in Peneireiros, Celorico de Basto, in the Vinho Verde Region, adjacent to the Douro Valley. Quinta da Raza has one of the sunniest aspects in the area; with granite, schist and clay soils.
Grape Variety: 50% Arinto, 35% Azal, 15% Trajadura. Fermented cool; finally retaining a high level of spritz (CO2) and a touch of barely discernible sweetness (9g of sugar per litre).
Producer: This is the 'house wine' of Quinta da Raza. The current owner Diogo Teixeira Coelho is a direct descendant of the family who have lived on the estate since the 17th century.
Old Bridge Rating: A modern expression of a classic style - spritzy and 'zingy'; brilliant picnic wine, particularly on the beach!
